The Meet to Beat 3: Tokyo Switch

主将 — Captain Applications

Lead A Crew

Captains draft their starting rosters and steer their teams through the Switch all weekend. If you want to lead in the final meet, make your case below.

Captain Expectations

As a captain at Tokyo Switch, you agree to:

  • Captains are expected to use their teams to fill in Volunteer and NSO spots when they are "ON DUTY" during some one else's game. Captains are required to know Who on their team can ref and in what capacity.
  • Captains can appoint their Second in command. They must notify their Second of all responsibilities and the second must take responsibility if the Captain cannot be present
  • Captains vote on a lot of matters. Captains MUST be present for those conversations that affect game play
  • Be present and available to skate at the tournament.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with your team and the organizers.
  • Make group chats and get your team interacting.
  • Report dropped players and understand the substitution rules
  • Set fair lineups* and make in-game decisions with the whole team in mind. (*=Tournament Director has a default line-up system that you can elect to use.)
  • Model good sportsmanship on and off the track.
  • Embrace the Switch — welcome new players warmly and send players off graciously. This includes making sure that everyone is dressed after jersey swaps
  • Captains pay to play like everyone else
